Dean Coughlin

Dean Coughlin is a multi-award winning, working-class comic from Liverpool, who has quickly established an outstanding reputation for his talent. Dean won Breakthrough Act of The Year 2023, and Best Comedy Podcastat The Northwest Comedy Awards 2023. Since its inception in 2021, his podcast has amassed a following of 150k+ across social media platforms. Dean is fresh off the back of doing full tour support for Dan Nightingale; his previous tour support spots include Paul Smith, Adam Rowe, Jason Manford, Fin Taylor and Lloyd Griffith.

Dean has a unique and whimsical approach to joke writing that adds working-class charm and diversity to any bill. He has performed at world famous venues such as The Stand Comedy Club, The Glee Club and Hot Water Comedy Club - where he spent two years as resident host. Dean has also performed internationally in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Amsterdam, proving himself to be an accomplished, reliable comic.
