Kuan-wen Huang

Leicester Comedy Festival 2023 Best Show nominee Kuan-wen Huang is a Taiwanese comedian based in London. He has appeared on multiple series of Comedy Central Live and on BBC Radio's 4 sketch comedy "Drop The Dead Panda" and Channel 4’s “Jokes Only An Immigrant Can Tell” digital series. As one of the most recognisable faces amongst performers of East Asian heritages in the UK, Kuan-wen has written for and acted in East Mode with Nigel Ng on Comedy Central.

For his critically acclaimed debut solo show “Ilha Formosa '', Kuan-wen was featured in The Guardian newspaper’s Top 10 Jokes of the Edinburgh Fringe. He was also selected by BBC Radio 4’s to feature in its “Fresh From The Fringe” 2023 line up.

Kuan-wen is a finalist in the inaugural UK Channel 4 Sean Lock Comedy Award. Outside comedy, he is a UK Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.
