Matt Davis

Across 60 (sixty) countries and counting, hundreds of cities, and thousands of shows in over 25 years, Matt Davis has established himself as a comedy fan favourite and go-to performer for festivals in both the comedy and performing arts spaces.

Dubbed "an intellectually-driven stand up comedy king!" by the Australian press for his previous comedy hour, come laugh along as Matt Davis brings to town a brand new show with funny and fresh material on a host of topics, all with the internationally-minded approach for which he is known.

Press from Australia, to Pakistan, to Morocco, India, China, the U.S., and many others have had nice things to say, and so have household names of the comedy world in country after country, like these fine people:

“A great comedian! Smart writer, always funny” - Dave Attell (USA), HBO, Comedy Central
“Funny as F##k!” - Janey Godley (Scotland), Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Winner
“Everything out of his mouth is a comedy gem!” - Brendon Burns (Australia), Best Comedy Show Award Winner, Edinburgh
“A world class comedian. Esoteric, smart, and always funny. One of my personal favourites” - Harith Iskander (Malaysia), comedian and founder of KLICFest

Matt Davis has appeared at numerous global comedy and arts festivals including Just For Laughs in Montreal, Canada, JFL42 in Toronto, Canada, SketchFest in San Francisco, U.S., Kuala Lumpur International Comedy Festival (KLICfest) Malaysia, Utrecht International Comedy Festival (UICF) in the Netherlands, Bengaluru Comedy Festival in India, Top of the World Comedy Festival in Nepal, Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, Fringe World in Australia, and many, many others.

His comedy has appeared on Netflix, Sirius/XM radio, and even the Weather Channel, and he has been featured on countless national and regional radio programs across the globe, and he has even performed comedy sketches on broadcast television in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition to 25+ years performing, his comedic short films and animations have screened at the Film Dayton festival, the LYAO comedy festival, the Cincinnati Film Festival, and the Sidewalk Film Festival.

When not performing Matt can be found drinking all of the coffee available and writing and/or animating something silly.
