Nigel Williams

Stand-up comedian Nigel Williams, originally from Bristol (UK), is considered one of the pioneers of the new wave of Belgian stand-up comedy that emerged in the late 1990s. In 2000, he won Humo's Comedy Cup, and since then, he has been entertaining audiences at venues in Belgium and abroad with his high-energy stand-up comedy.

He delivers socially relevant stand-up rooted in the purest Anglo-Saxon tradition, focusing on current events, with razor-sharp observations and plenty of improvisation, freewheeling, and audience participation. Nigel is known for his unwavering social commitment and delivers his message in a hilariously unfiltered manner, always with a cheeky wink. He is a perfect match for those who prefer their comedy a bit rougher.

Nigel has eight full-length shows to his credit and has appeared on numerous radio and television programs. In recent years, he has been touring across Europe with stand-up shows in his native language, English. He is the founder of the now-legendary Stand-Up Antwerp Comedy Club (Antwerp), where he hosts English-speaking comedians from all over the world every month.

With over 20 years of experience as a corporate comedian, Nigel tailors his material to suit the audience, occasion, and location for his comedy sets.

Nigel performs in both Dutch and English.
